We want to apologise to our Oxford audience. We decided to do a weather related marketing campaign (see videos below) and, if you’ve been following our Tempest related weather updates on Twitter you’ll know, we actually made The Tempest hit Oxford.
Don’t fear though theatre lovers, our shows this summer are almost tempest proof:
– Pictures of Dorian Gray is being put on in Blackwell’s Bookshop
– Don Quixote is set to be under cover of The Covered Market
– The Tempest is set to be in various venues around Osney Mead (so as long as you pack your brolly and wear sensible shoes, you’ll be grand)

WEATHER UPDATE : THE TEMPEST IS COMING
Expected outlook – scattered showers expected this evening in the Osney Mead area. STORM WARNING issued for anyone who has recently banished a family member; travel with caution.
OXFORD SHIPPING FORECAST : PREPARE FOR STORM ARIEL
OXFORD SHIPPING FORECAST: Southwest, backing east, 5 or 6, decreasing 4 at times, occasionally 7 later. Slight or moderate. Occasionally rain or showers. Good, occasionally moderate.
Keep a weather eye out on the Creation platforms for updates on Storm Ariel.
