9TH MARCH – 12TH ARIL 2008
THE NORTH WALL ARTS CENTRE
This rarely produced masterpiece was performed in The North Wall in Summertown – a first for Creation. The former Victorian swimming pool has been converted into a stunning state of the art performance space.
The darkly comic story of love, lust and morality featured returning actors Caroline Devlin, Richard Kidd and Amy Stacy and was directed by veteran Creation director Charlotte Conquest. Cool jazz underscored many scenes and pieces of set were maneovered into position with dancers precision. A huge set of prison gates separated characters at various times, and separated the audience from the actors in the final thought provoking scene.
