6TH DECEMBER 2012 – 5TH JANUARY 2013
THE NORTH WALL ARTS CENTRE
If you had three wishes, what would you wish for?
For Creation’s second outing to the intimate North Wall Arts Centre we took a ride on a flying carpet to the magical world of Aladdin. With a beautiful Princess and a couple of mischievous, magical genies we followed Aladdin on his life-changing adventure through China. Along the way we encountered evil sorcerers, secret caves and an enchanted lamp, in an age-old tale of adventure.
With Charlotte Conquest, director of the previous year’s much-loved A Christmas Carol, back in the director’s chair, Aladdin and the Magical Lamp was a Creation classic; a witty and wonderful family show, full of joyful songs, colourful characters and belly laughs..
Reviews
“If you’re wondering what to do in Oxford this Christmas this family show is perfect.” – Daily Info
“There are plenty of lighter moments to be had – a wonderfully daft scene in which chocolate biscuits fall out of the sky, and some impressive acrobatics from O’Loughlin – and there are enough laughs to keep all ages happy” – The Stage
