Put On A Play In A Week

Every holiday, we run Put on a Play in a Week workshops. Join the Creation team for a week where we get to grips with the text and rehearse, whilst playing a lot of games, then on Friday, we invite friends and family to come and see the final show. The show will usually take place at 3pm on the Friday, this will be confirmed during the week.

Workshops are £170 a week – we do offer sibling discounts of 10% and Friends discount of 20%.

October half term

Put on a Play in a Week
Join us this October half term for Shakespearian ghosts, spooky short stories and frightening fairytales. We’ll be spending a week at d’Overbroecks with our Put on a Play in a Week workshops, where we’ll be looking at classic tales with Halloween twist.

Julius Caesar at the Ashmolean
We’re running a site-specific Shakespeare workshop for teenagers this October half term. Over the course of the day, we’ll adapt Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar into a site-specific play, and perform it to parents in the Museum. This workshops costs £50, and includes an hour talk on the Roman artifacts in the Museum’s collect by a member of the Ashmolean’s learning team.

Christmas Workshops

Feeling organised? Spend a day with the Creation team this Christmas, as we get to grips with classic Christmas stories.

Put on A Christmas Carol in a day (including show ticket)
This Christmas holidays, we’re running two day-long workshops specifically on A Christmas Carol. In the morning, we’ll stage our own version of Dickens’ classic tale, and then after lunch we’ll take our seats for the 2pm matinee at The North Wall.

Here at Creation we welcome all abilities to our workshops;however to coincide with our relaxed performance of A Christmas Carol, we are delighted to offer a tailormade drama workshop for children with autistic, sensory and communication conditions.
