Each week our Sprites (ages 8-10) will embark on an interactive digital adventure through some of literature’s best loved classic stories, exploring fantastical new lands and meeting crazy characters. Using your computer screens as a portal you’ll experience an exciting journey, rewriting yourself as the story’s hero and bringing the story to life in your homes. Each weekly session focusses on a new story and is accompanied by a weekly postal storytelling package that keeps the magic of the session alive long after screen time is over. Weekly sessions are delivered live over Zoom by a professional actor and accompanied by physical resources sent through the post. This is an experience specifically crafted for our new digital stage, not just “drama on Zoom” and incorporates a range of storytelling techniques and new technologies that we use in our professional productions.
Across the 12 weeks of term we’ll introduce 12 different classic stories, including some Shakespeare, and bring them to life through a variety of active and interactive exercises, theatre-making techniques and games, specially tailored to children aged 8-10. Through the sessions our members learn storytelling skills, build confidence and develop creativity and are introduced to classic literature in an exciting, unique and accessible way.
Sessions can be accessed anywhere with an internet connection and bring together young storytellers and explorers from all over the country (and world!), encouraging inter-personal creativity and connection in a time when we all need it.
This is creativity without limits and an online experience like no other, worlds away from a reality of social distancing, bubbling and hand sanitiser.

Membership costs £126 per term for a single child, £150 for two siblings in the same age group.
Sibling discounts of 5% are available for siblings in different age groups.
