“Are you sitting comfortably? Then Creation will begin. Once upon a time…”
National Storytelling Week 2018 will soon be upon us and we’re all geared up for an amazing storytelling marathon. From 27 January to 3 February 2018, our talented team will be visiting Oxfordshire’s schools to give pupils the opportunity to learn new stories and re-tell some classics.
This year, we’ll be visiting Oxfordshire’s schools to give pupils the opportunity to stage as many tales as possible from the master of storytelling – Hans Christian Andersen. From The Little Mermaid to The Steadfast Tin Soldier, we’ll focus on storytelling skills and staging our own version of these classics.
We’re also happy to take on any story you feel will benefit your class and to complement any curriculum-based themes you might be working on. We truly believe that the skills learnt in our workshops not only build confidence and imagination, they give children life skills, which can be used in school projects and beyond.
