INTRODUCTION
Headington Hill Park was transformed into the wilds of Scotland for this chilling production of Macbeth. Set Designer Cleo Pettitt once again worked her magic for Creation with a set built around a huge chestnut tree and adorned with gruesome skulls. Shakespeare’s tale of murder, corruption and civil war was brought to life with breathtaking fight scenes choreographed by Philip D’Orleans.
In his debut for Creation, Director Gareth Machin (Artistic Director of the Southwark Playhouse, Bristol Old Vic) worked with a talented cast including Creation regulars Tom Peters and Seamus Allen to portray the terrifying and spectacular journey of a man battling demons from both outside and in.
